We have a contract with a large transport company, part of our role is to visit the many depots they have and to advise the staff management on any security issues they may have, whether it be with CCTV, intruder or fire alarms to name but a few.
We also offer the services of supporting the depot management with complex investigations of theft or deception. One of the complex crimes, we have been involved in was an encampment by “Travellers” and a subsequent burglary at a closed depot where £100,000 worth of cable from inside the premises was stolen.
We supervised the investigation to ensure the police had sufficient evidence to arrest offenders in the future, we preserved the scene of the crime along the lines of “The Golden Hour”, principal and forensically we understand sufficient evidence was found to secure a conviction of offender(s).
We also submitted recommendations to prevent any further encampments by travellers and other crime prevention issues.
