PROBLEM
We received an instruction from a solicitor client by email at about 4pm on a Friday evening. We immediately emailed our agent with the details of a Placement Order for a child to be adopted who was in significant danger from her drug abusing mother. All the relevant authorities were not able to make any contact with the mother. We were given very little details or description about the respondent, but we managed to find her profile on Facebook.
OUTCOME
We visited the home address and initially didn’t get any reply, it was a sensitive issue and an urgent instruction, we discussed the options and decided on pushing a note with a contact number through the door, the respondent amazingly made contact with us and we arranged to meet, and a successful serve took place.
